Recognizes media types (e.g., website, social media platform, blog, podcast, etc.)
Distinguishes news from advertising, opinion/commentary, and other content
Evaluates author and source credibility and authority using appropriate criteria
Identifies bias and spin
Evaluates content using appropriate criteria and reasoning
Applies course concepts accurately
Draws and explains conclusions using relevant support
Meets designated learner outcomes for the activity, assignment, or discussion
